Lingenfelter Stingray C7s Steal SEMA 2014
Arguably the world’s craziest car show, Las Vegas’ SEMA 2014 lived up to the hype with some staggering exhibits and ACS were there to enjoy the madness. SEMA boasted everything from super wide-bodied Ferraris and Mona Lisa paint-jobs to insanely camouflaged monster trucks but two Corvette C7s stood out from the show to show class and performance.
Mechanically speaking both cars are the same – 2014 Chevrolet C7 Corvette Stingray and both are equipped with a range of our stunning RTM and carbon fiber parts to boost performance and style, while similarly both cars have been through the Lingenfelter mill receiving one heck of an engine upgrade as detailed below.
Lingenfelter C7 Corvette Stingray 378 CID Edelbrock E Force TVS2300 Supercharged LT1 700 Horsepower Engine Package
This engine upgrade gifts each C7 700 HP and 665 FT LBS of Torque, which when you consider that even the basic Stingray C7 is one beast of a performance car, is more than enough to whet the appetite of even the most demanding performance car enthusiast. This is the second level of a range of three packages (the third offers 750 HP!) and it starts with the supercharger, adding CNC ported cylinder heads along with a custom camshaft, which combined elevates the LT1 up to 700 horsepower.
In essence the Lingenfelter bring the following to the table:

The package for this Lingenfelter package comes to just under $15,000 – unsurprising when you consider the quality and sheer power that it offers and a 3 year (36,000 mile) warranty comes as standard.

In addition both cars are equipped with Corsa Performance with a Cat-Back exhaust while the wheels are provided by Forgeline Motorsports, manufacturers of premium forged aluminum custom performance racing wheels. Continental tyres give assurance of handling the pressure exerted by the boosted horsepower of each car.
This stunning yellow C7 was given a premium paint job by the AkzoNobel Coatings in a shade that is new to the market and known as Ember Gold.
The Ember Gold is a unique tricoat color which has been given a flat clearcoat on top to offer forth that gorgeous flat sheen effect, which we thought suited the C7 and the ACS mods to a T – as the flat clearcoat accentuates the menacing sharp edges of the Stingray quite beautifully.
The sumptuous and shiny red C7 below shows that two utterly contrasting paint jobs on the same car can yield different but equally spectacular results. The glossy red offsets the dark tinted glass and black and chrome trim to great effect, rendering the Corvette primed and ready for battle!
