FRP Manufacturing

• Resin Transfer Molding (RTM) – RTM is a low pressure moulding process, where a mixed resin and catalyst are injected into a closed mould containing a fibre pack. ACS applies this proprietary manufacturing method in the production of large exterior components such as automotive hoods, spoilers and side panels.
• Smooth finish on both sides
• Consistent part thickness
• Controlled glass/resin composition

Post Operations

• Trimming - Parts are trimmed using a CNC robotic water jet cutter to insure consistency and quality at a reduced cost. A high-flow water pump pressurizes water at 50,000 psi, to enable a clean, smooth cut on every part.
• Bonding – CNC robots are used to dispense OEM specification adhesives in predetermined locations. This ensures parts are properly bonded and will fit and function as intended.
• Prepping and prime – ACS parts can be prepared and primed to class A specifications
• Packaging and Expedition - ACS supplies JIT production lines with either bulk or individual packaging
